Currently based on a full K-8
program, With teaching plans for K-5
There are many activities for 6-8 but the balance of the activities and the teaching plans will be completed by mid 2005.
The
activities correlate to NCTM standards. Correlations
to various State Standards and popular text books
are underway. The system will offer teaching plans
based on the standards and appropriate scope and
sequence.
The activity plans teach the
standards and the scope and sequence for each
State.
Activities are being correlated see the news
page for a progress report.
Activities are also being correlated to popular
book schemes.
The
system provides both formative and summative assessments.
The formative method uses color patterns so that
you can spot the strengths and weaknesses of individuals,
groups or classes. You can export data into other
reporting systems.
If
you use Classic MathAmigo you use a Docking Unit
connected to the computer. It simultaneously transfers
data to 6 units. The Docking Unit is part of the
system. Palm and Dana use the HotSync process.
Various wireless solutions will be on offer by
June 2005.
